Relics in other religious traditions usually consist of fragments of bone or hair from deceased beings. In the Buddhist tradition, when a great master dies and is cremated, within their remains are found tiny pearl like beads called ringsel. The ringsel that are in our possession are ringsel from the body of the Sakyamuni Buddha, left behind after his body was cremated 2500 years ago. They are not pieces of bones, but rather manifestations of the realizations of the Buddha, and hold the essence of His compassion, wisdom and blessings. Because of the great compassion of the Lord Buddha, anyone who sees, hears of, touches, or even thinks about these relics can receive great blessings and purify negative karma.

In actuality, what we see in the relics, or the blessing we experience in their presence, comes not from the outside, but rather that the relics are like mirrors, reflecting our own innate wisdom and compassion. The chance to come into contact with ringsel is rare. The chance to own a single piece of ringsel from the body of the Shakyamuni Buddha is a once-in-many-lifetimes opportunity.

Relics from the body of the Shakyamuni Buddha are extraordinarily rare, and these ringsel have been kept quietly and passed from master to student for many centuries. They are individually enshrined in a 1” crystal stupa and were donated to the Opportunity Kham Foundation by a close disciple of His Eminence Sakya Ngor Ewam Phende Rinpoche. Our supply is very small and we believe that they will be owned only by those whose karma is ripe to receive them. We offer them for a one-time donation of $4,000.00 USD or more.
